Patroclus, an awkward young prince, has been exiled to the court of King Peleus and his perfect son Achilles. About the Author

Madeline Miller was born in Boston and grew up in New York City and Philadelphia. She attended Brown University, earning her BA and MA in Classics. For the last ten years, she has taught and tutored Latin, Greek, and Shakespeare to high school students.
